Perinteiset kuukausittaiset kauneuslemppari-postaukset ei enää kuulu blogin vakiosisältöön, mutta nyt toukokuussa oon tutustunut ja ottanut käyttöön muutaman sen verran hyvän tuotteen, että haluan vinkata niistä teillekin toukokuun kauneussuosikit -postauksen muodossa. Pääosin kyseessä tosiaan itselleni täysin uusia tuotetuttavuuksia, mutta mahtuu joukkoon yksi vanhempikin lemppari, jota on nyt hiljattain tullut käytettyä taas enemmän.
Although I don't do monthly favourites posts every month anymore, this month I do have a few beauty favourites I want to share with you all. I've come across a few really good new-to-me products these past few weeks, and there's also one older favourite that has gotten more use again lately.
L'Oréal Paris Glam Nude CC Cream

Madridin reissua varten, mutta se on ollut kovassa käytössä muutenkin. Glam Nude CC-voide tasoittaa hyvin ihon pintaa ja väriä, pysyy kasvoilla koko päivän, ja peittää ihon virheitä yllättävänkin hyvin keveydestään huolimatta. Tällaiset kevyet, aurinkosuojan sisältävät pohjatuotteet on kuumina kesäpäivinä ihan must, joten vähän veikkaan että tästä tulee myös yksi koko kesän lempparituotteista. Tuoksu tosin on aika voimakas, joten tää ei ehkä ole se paras vaihtoehto kaikkein herkkäihoisimmille, vaikka tuoksu miellyttävän kesäinen onkin.
I bought the redness reducing L'Oréal CC cream for Madrid, but I've used it a lot even before and after the trip. Glam Nude CC Cream smooths the surface and colour of the skin, stays on all day long, and despite being light in texture it has a surprisingly high coverage to it. These kind of light bases with SPF are definitely a must on hot summer days, so I believe this will become one of my summer favourites in general. The scent it quite powerful though, so this one is maybe not for those with super sensitive skin, even if the scent it very pleasant.
Maybelline The Blushed Nudes
Pitkäaikainen vakkari Urban Decayn Naked Basics -luomiväripaletti on saanut väistyä tän Maybellinen The Blushed Nudes -paletin tieltä, joka mulla on ollut jo yli vuoden verran mutta jota tunnun käyttävän lähinnä vain kevät- ja kesäaikaan. Kuten nimestäkin voi jo päätellä, paletin sävyt on vaaleanpunaiseen ja ruusukultaiseen taittavia, eli ihan täydellisiä raikkaaseen kesämeikkiin. Suurin osa paletin sävyistä on kimaltavia ja ne pysyy luomilla hyvin koko päivän ajan, varsinkin pohjustustuotteen kanssa.
My longtime go-to eyeshadow palette Urban Decay Naked Basics has had to make way for this Maybelline The Blushed Nudes one, which I've already had for over a year but only tend to use it during Spring and Summer. As the name would suggest, the shades in the palette are more on the pink and rose gold side, which makes them perfect for a fresh summer make up look. Most of the colours in the palette are shimmery shades, and they do last on the lids through the whole day, especially with a primer.
John Frieda Frizz Ease Daily Miracle Leave-In Conditioner
Mun tukkaa on suihkun jälkeen turha edes yrittää selvittää ilman hiuksiin jätettävää hoitoainetta, eikä kaikista hoitoaineistakaan ole aina riittävästi apua. John Friedan Frizz Ease Daily Miracle on kuitenkin toiminut mun takkutukkaan ihan super hyvin ja tehnyt hiuksista helposti selvitettävät, pehmeät ja sileät. Tän kanssa hiukset on myös pysyneet pehmeinä ja sileinä pidempään kuin monen muun aikaisemmin kokeilemani hiuksiin jätettävän hoitoaineen kanssa.
It's pointless to even try to detangle my hair after washing without a leave-in conditioner, and not even all of those manage to give me enough help. Nevertheless, John Frieda Frizz Ease Daily Miracle has worked really well with my tangly hair. It makes my hair easy to detangle, soft, and smooth. With this one my hair has also stayed soft and smooth for longer than with many other leave-in conditioners I've tried.
Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl in '005 Nude'
Rimmelin nude kajaali on ollut käytössä vasta viime viikosta asti, mutta tää meni kyllä kertaheitolla suosikkien joukkoon! Nudella kajaalilla saa todella hyvin avattua ja kirkastettua katsetta, ja samalla koko kasvot näyttää heti pirteämmiltä. Rimmelin Scandaleyes myös pysyy paikoillaan melkeinpä koko päivän, vaikka yleensä mulla lähtee kajaalit aika nopeasti haalistumaan ja leviämään.
I've only used the nude Rimmel kohl since last week, but it went straight to my list of favourites! Nude kohl is great for opening and brightening the eyes, and at the same time it makes your whole face look more awake. Rimmel Scandaleyes also stays on really well, even though usually kohls tend to smudge and fade quite quickly on me.
Chloé Love Story
Madridin Sephorasta lähti mukaan pitkästä aikaa uusi hajuvesi. YSL:n Black Opium on ollut nyt aikalailla päivittäisessä käytössä jo yli vuoden päivät, ja vaikka sitä edelleen rakastankin niin kaipasin jo jotain uutta ja erilaista. Chloén Love Story on raikas ja kukkainen, ja sopiikin siksi mun mielestä Black Opiumia paremmin kesäkäyttöön. Tuoksu on naisellinen, muttei kuitenkaan tätimäinen tai liian voimakas, ja tätä käyttäessä mulle tuleekin nimenomaan raikas, kaunis ja elegantti fiilis.

From the Madrid Sephora I picked up also a new perfume for the first time in a long time. I've been using the YSL Black Opium perfume pretty much on a daily basis for over a year now, and although I do still love it, I wanted something new and different already. Chloé Love Story is a fresh and floral scent, and that's why I think it's better for summertime use when compared to the Black Opium. The scent is feminine, but not 'old-woman like' or too empowering, and it gives me a fresh, beautiful and elegant feeling when wearing it.
