Niin kuin varmasti jokainen blogia edes hiukankin pidempään seurannut tietää, minä ja värit ei oikein tulla toimeen. Rakastan kyllä kaikkia kirkkaita ja iloisia värejä, ja ihailen aina kaikkia niitä rohkeita jotka kulkevat kadulla sateenkaaren värit yllään ja näyttävät upeilta, mutta en vain osaa itse pukeutua niihin. Musta, valkoinen, harmaa ja beige nyt vain ovat ne värit, joissa tunnen oloni kaikkein mukavimmaksi ja itsekseni. Välillä jos fiilis on oikein villi, niin päälle saattaa eksyä hempeän vaaleanpunainen paita, mutta näitäkin tilanteita on varmaan kahden käden sormilla laskettava määrä vuodessa.
As I'm sure anyone who's read my blog even a little bit longer already knows, colours and I don't get along that well. Don't get me wrong, I do love bright and happy colours and always admire people walking on the street and absolutely rocking a colourful look, but I just don't know how to wear them myself. Black, white, grey and beige just happen to be the colours I feel most comfortable and myself in. Sometimes if I'm feeling particularly adventurous I might put on a blush pink shirt, but those occasions can probably be counted with two hands.
Vaikka siis omassa pukeutumisessani noudatan pääsääntöisesti aika väritöntä linjaa, niin asusteiden muodossa kyllä tykkään käyttää värejä itsekin. Tämän asun silkkihuivi ja edellisen asupostauksen kirkkaanpunaiset nilkkurit ovatkin tästä ihan loistavat esimerkit. Tämäkin asu olisi näyttänyt paljon tylsemmältä, ja niin no värittömältä, ilman huivin tuomaa pientä piristystä. Vaikka myönnettäköön, että myös tuo leipuripojan lakki pelastaa kyllä asun kuin asun ;) Väitän että tää on ehdottomasti mun syksyn (ehkä koko vuoden) paras muotiostos!
Although I generally speaking like to dress quite colourless, I do like to experiment with colours when it comes to accessories. The silk scarf in this outfit and the bright red ankle boots in the previous outfit post are prime examples of that. This outfit would've looked much more dull and well, colourless, without the little pop of colour the neck scarf brings. Although admittedly the baker boy cap has the power so save any and every outfit ;) I dare to say that this is definitely the best fashion purchase of the season, maybe even of the whole year!
