Viime viikolla keräsin yhteen vuoden 2017 kauneussuosikkeja, ja tällä kertaa vuorossa on kuluneen vuoden muotisuosikit. Muotisuosikkien rajaaminen vain näihin aivan ehdottomiin lemppareihin oli huomattavasti vaikeampaa kuin kauneuslemppareiden suhteen, mutta lopulta päädyin rajaaman listan näihin viiteen vuoden 2017 aikana vaatekaappiin muuttaneeseen ihanuuteen.
Last week I put together a post all about my 2017 beauty favourites, and this time it's time for the fashion favourites from this past year. Narrowing down my fashion favourites to just a few ultimate favourites was much more difficult than narrowing down the beauty favourites, but ultimately these five fashion pieces made it to my list of 2017 fashion favourites.
Kesän aikana hurahdin monen vuoden tauon jälkeen pitkästä aikaa farkkuhameisiin taas ihan kunnolla. Aluksi sopivaa yksilöä ei meinannut löytyä ollenkaan, mutta kun bongasin tämän kaikki kriteerit täyttävän Primarkin farkkuhameen vain viidellä punnalla niin ei tarvinnut kauaa miettiä vienkö hameen kassalle vai en.
After many years, last Summer I fell head over heels back in love with denim skirts again. First I just couldn't find the right one anywhere, but then I spotted this Primark denim skirt on sale for mere £5 and it definitely didn't take long for me to decide whether buy it or not.
Zaran sinivalkoraitainen röyhelöhihainen mekko oli ehdottomasti kesän suosikkimekko. Rakastuin mekon raitoihin, röyhelöihin ja hieman avonaisempaan selkään heti, ja tätä mekkoa olisin ehdottomasti halunnut käyttää useamminkin jos vaan säät olisivat sallineet.
Blue and white striped, ruffle sleeved Zara dress was definitely my favourite summer dress this year. I instantly fell in love with the stripes, the ruffles and the bit more open back of the dress, and I would've loved to put this dress into more use if the weather had just allowed me to.
Niin kuin tässä asupostauksessa jo mainitsin, on ruutubleiseri ollut ehdottomasti yksi vuoden parhaimpia muotiostoksia! Mä en varmaan koskaan tule kyllästymään bleisereihin ja kesän aikana hurahdin ihan täysin Prince of Wales -ruutukuosiin, joten luonnollisesti tämä Nextistä löytynyt ruutubleiseri on ollut todella ahkerassa käytössä.
As already mentioned in this outfit post, the check blazer has without a doubt been one of the best fashion purchases I've made this year! I really don't think I'll ever get tired of blazers and in the summer I also fell for the Prince of Wales check pattern, and so naturally this check blazer from Next has been in a frequent use this year.
Tän vuoden ainoa takkiostos ja viime viikkojen ehdottomasti käytetyin ulkovaate on ollut valkoinen, pörröinen ja lämmin teddy-takki. Teddy-takki on myös sen verran näyttävä muihin vaatteisiini verrattuna, että omassa tyylissäni se piristää asuja juuri sopivasti ja toimii kaivattuna statement-elementtinä.
The only coat purchase of 2017, and definitely my most used piece of outerwear these past few weeks has been the white, fluffy and warm teddy coat. It also acts as the perfect statement piece with my minimal outfits and makes them look that bit more interesting.
Ehdottomasti koko vuoden käytetyin hattu ja paras asuste-ostos! Tämä H&M:n baker boy -hattu on ollut oston jälkeen jos ei nyt ihan päivittäisessä niin ainakin viikoittaisessa käytössä ja pelastanut monelta huonolta hiuspäivältä ja asukriisiltä. Hattu on usein se asun kaipaama viimeinen piste iin päälle, ja siksi usein ennen ovesta ulos lähtöä tulee vielä painettua baker boy -hattu päähän.
Without a doubt the most used hat and best accessory purchase of the year! This baker boy hat from H&M has been used if not quite daily then at least weekly ever since I bought it, and it has saved me from many bad hair days and outfit crisis. The hat is often just the perfect finishing touch the outfit needs, so many times before I walk out the door I put my baker boy hat on and it makes me feel ready to face the world.
