Blogeissa on viime aikoina kiertänyt hauska hiuskysely, ja koska oon tykännyt hurjasti lukea niitä itse niin päätin toteuttaa postauksen myös minäkin. Tässäpä siis tulee, 15 kysymystä ja vastausta minusta ja hiuksistani!
I've come across this fun hair questionnaire a few times now, and since I've been really enjoying reading the posts myself I decided to jump on the bandwagon too. So here goes, 15 questions and answers about me and my hair!
1. Hiustyyppi? // Hair type?
- Luonnonkihara /-taipuisa, melko kuiva, paksu ja karhea. Ei siis se tyypillinen suomalainen hiustyyppi, ja tää kyllä kulkee meillä suvussa!
- Naturally curly/wavy, quite dry and hoarse. So not the typical Finnish thin and slippery type, and this is something that definitely runs in our family!
2. Missä käyt kampaajalla? Kuinka usein? // Where do you go to hairdresser's? How often?
- Käyn kampaajalla itse asiassa todella harvoin, vain 1-2 kertaa vuodessa.. Viime vuosina olen käynyt yleensä Tiialla Kamp32:ssa.
- I actually go to the hairdresser's really rarely, usually only 1-2 times a year... The past few years I've been going to Tiia in Kamp32 in Helsinki.
3. Mitä hiuksillesi tehtiin viimeksi kampaajalla? // What did you get done the last time you went to the hairdresser's?
- Lyhennettiin ja sävytettiin Wella Glossing- hoidolla. Viime kampaajakerrasta onkin vierähtänyt jo melkein se vuosi, ja tällä hetkellä tukka alkaa kyllä näyttääkin siltä että pakko buukata uusi käynti pian!
- A little trim and toning with the Wella Glossing treatment. That was almost a year ago though and my hair is definitely looking like a new appointment needs to be booked in soon!
4. Tukkajumalasi? // Your hair god?
- Monet sanoo samaa, mutta eihän sitä käy kieltäminen että Negin Mirsalehin tukka on aivan mieletön!
- A lot of people say the same, but there's no denying that Negin Mirsalehi has the most gorgeous hair!
5. Suosikkikampaus? // Favourite hairdo?
- Rennot ja huolettomat laineet
- Relaxed and casual waves
6. Kuinka usein peset hiukset – aamulla vai illalla? // How often do you wash your hair - morning or night?
- Pesen suunnilleen joka kolmas päivä, joskus harvemminkin. Ja aina illalla!
- I wash mine approximately every third day, sometimes even more infrequently. And always at night!
7. Vakio hätäkampaus? // Go-to emergency hairdo?
- Niskanuttura tai sitten hattu päähän!
- A sleek bun at the nape of the neck or just putting a hat on!
8. Millaisia hiustuotteita käytät – uusin lemppari ja ikisuosikki? // What kind of hair products do you use - your newest favourite and an all-time fave?
- Omaan hiustenhoitorutiiniini kuuluu shampoo + hoitoaine suihkussa, suihkutettava hoitoaine suihkun jälkeen ja hiusöljy. En niinkään vanno minkään yhden tietyn brändin nimeen, vaan tykkään kokeilla erilaisia. Uusimpia lemppareita on Cutrinin Muoto-sarjan tuotteet, ja Batisten kuivashampoot on puolestaan aina varma valinta!
- My haircare routine consists of shampoo + conditioner in shower, detangling/conditioning spray after shower and a hair oil. I don't really swear by a specific brand but like to try and experiment with different ones. Some of my latest and newest discoveries are the Cutrin Muoto -products, and Batiste dry shampoo is an all-time favourite that never fails!
9. Mikä hiustuote ei nappaa? // Which product are you not a fan of?
- Ne L'oréal Elnett -hiuslakat! Vaikka ne kuinka hyviä ja pitäviä ovatkaan, niin se voimakas tuoksu on mulle yksinkertaisesti liikaa vaikka mulla ei yleisesti olekaan mitään tuoksuvia tuotteita vastaan.
- Those L'oréal Elnett hairsprays! No matter how good and strong they are, the scent is just too much for me although I usually don't have anything against strong scents.
10. Jäätävin hiuslookkisi? // Your worst hair look?
- Kun värjäsin hiukset paloauton punaiseksi. Kotiväreillä. Ja sen jälkeen halusin blondin. Kotikonsteilla tietenkin. Meni monta vuotta että karhea luonnonkihara hiukseni toipui tuosta koettelemuksesta!
- When I decided to dye my hair fire engine red. With at-home colours. And after that I wanted to go blonde. With at-home colours of course. It took many many years that my dry and curly hair recovered from that ordeal.
11. Syötkö ravinnelisää hiuksille? // Do you eat any hair supplements?
- Tällä hetkellä en. Olen kyllä joskus kokeillut Evonian kapseleita, ja voisin ehdottomasti kokeilla hiusravinnelisiä uudelleenkin!
- At the moment I don't. I have eaten Evonia capsules before, and supplements are definitely something I could consider again!
12. Käytätkö/oletko joskus käyttänyt hiuslisäkkeitä? // Do you use or have you ever used hair extensions?
- En ole. Joskus olisin kyllä kovasti halunnut kokeilla, mutta tällä hetkellä en näe niitä millään tavalla itselleni tarpeelliseksi.
- I haven't. At one point I would've really wanted to try, but right now I don't see them in any way necessary.

13. Hiuskatastrofi? // Hair catastrophe?
- Olimme kesälomareissulla Turkissa vuonna 2006 ja silloin pikku-Pinjan oli tietenkin saatava ne perinteiset lomaletit päähän. Hotellin turkkilainen parturi/kampaamo oli ilmeisesti sitä mieltä, että pikkulettien kiinnittäminen kuumaliimalla (!!) oli täysin ok. Sitä kuivunutta liimaa olikin sitten ihana koittaa harjata pois hiuksista siinä vaiheessa kun halusin leteistä eroon.
- We were holidaying in Turkey in 2006 and back then little Pinja obviously had to have those traditional little holiday braids done. The salon in the hotel apparently thought that securing the braids with hot glue (!!) is totally ok. I can tell you that it was a real pleasure trying to brush that glue off when I eventually wanted to get rid of the braids.
14. Millä suoristat ja/tai kiharrat? // What do you use to straighten and/or curl?
- Viime aikoina oon käyttänyt sekä suoristamiseen että kihartamiseen Cloud 9 Touch Iron -rautaa. Myös Remingtonin paksumpi kiharruspuikko on usein käytössä jos haluan sellaiset kunnon glamour-kiharat.
- Lately I've been using the Cloud 9 Touch Iron both to straighten and curl. The wider Remington curling wand is what I often use when I want to create those bigger glamorous curls.
15. Hiusvinkki? // Hair tip?
- Älä pese hiuksia turhan usein. Päänahka kyllä tottuu pidempään pesuväliin ja hiukset kiittää kun niitä ei pese ihan joka päivä :)
- Don't wash your hair too often. Your scalp does get used to going longer between washes and your hair will thank you for not washing it every single day :)
