Friday Cravings: Lace Up Combat Boots

Oon tänä syksynä hieman yllättänyt jopa itsenikin, sillä olen alkanut silmäilemään ja haaveilemaan maihinnousukenkien perään! En koskaan ajatellut että vanhat kunnon maiharit voisi sopia mun tyyliin, tai että keksisin niiden kanssa mitään asuyhdistelmiä. Tai että olisin tarpeeksi cool jotta voisin vetää ne jalkaani hahah! Cooliudesta ei kyllä ole edelleenkään tietoakaan, mutta nyt kuluneen syksyn aikana vastaan on tullut toinen toistaan paremman näköisiä ja tyylikkäämpiä sekä maihareita että asuja niiden kanssa, jotka on saaneet mut vakuuttuneeksi siitä että maiharit istuu loistavasti myös klassisempaan ja naisellisempaan tyyliin. Pieni maiharikuume on siis ehdottomasti nostanut täällä päätään, ja alapuolella olevaan kollaasiin kokosin muutamat silmää miellyttävät parit sekä inspiraatiokuvia siitä kuinka voisin itse kuvitella maiharit stailaavani.

This autumn I've even surprised myself a little bit, as I've been eyeing and dreaming about a pair of lace up combat boots! I never thought a pair of good old combat boots would fit into my style, or that I would come up with any outfits to wear them with. Or that I would be cool enough to put on a pair hahah! I'm still definitely not cool, but through these past few weeks I've frequently come across both combat boots and outfits with them that have convinced me that actually yes, combat boots can be styled to fit more classy and feminine outfits too. So there's a little bit of combat boot fever in the air at this end, and in the below collage you can see a few pairs that I like the look of as well as a few outfit inspiration examples of how I could see myself wearing them.
