Korvaläpät on ehdottomasti yksi tämän talven isoimpia trendejä. Eikä mikään ihme, korvaläpät ovat paitsi super söpöt niin myös erittäin käytännöllinen talviasuste. Ne nimittäin pitävät korvat lämpiminä, mutta eivät litistä hiuksia samaan tapaan kuin esimerkiksi pipo tai toinen tämän talven super trendikäs päähine: pörröinen kalastajanhattu.
Earmuffs are hands down one of the biggest trends this winter. And no wonder, as earmuffs are not only super cute but also a very practical winter accessory. They keep your ears warm but don't flatten your hair the same way as for example a more classic winter beanie or the other super trendy piece of headwear this winter: the teddy bucket hat.
Kuinka stailata korvaläpät
Pörröiset tekokarvaiset korvaläpät myös sopivat erilaisiin asuihin aina sporttisesta talvilookista toppatakin ja Moon Bootsien kanssa siistimpään kaupunkiasuun suorien housujen ja villakangastakin kanssa. Molemmat kokonaisuudet on nimittäin testattu ja todettu toimiviksi.

Itse olen sen verran kaupunkityttö että pitäydyn näissä kaupunkiasuissa, mutta jos olisin suuntaamassa jonnekin pohjoiseen tai päinvastoin etelään Alpeille laskettelemaan hiihtolomalla tai pääsiäisenä, niin korvaläpät lähtisivät takuuvarmasti mukaan. Tyylikäs lasketteluasu, korvaläpät ja kuppi kuumaa kaakaota auringossa laskujen välissä olisi juuri se täydellinen lasketteluloman viba. Ja mitä luultavimmin omalla kohdallani myös se ainoa viba, sillä talviurheilu ei varsinaisesti kuulu suosikkeihini ja viimeisimmästä laskukerrastakin taitaa olla jo yli 10 vuotta aikaa.
How to style earmuffs
Fluffy faux fur earmuffs can also be styled into many different outfits all the way from a sportier winter look with a puffer jacket and Moon Boots to a more chic city outfit with a pair of straight legged suit trousers and a belted wool coat. Both looks tested and approved by yours truly.
Earmuffs in a chic ski outfit
Persoanlly I'm such a city girl that I stick to these more city appropriate outfits with my earmuffs, but if I were to head somewhere up north or vice versa down south to the Alps for a ski trip, I'd most certainly pack earmuffs with me. A chic ski outfit, earmuffs and a cup of hot chocolate in the sunshine in between slopes would be just the perfect ski holiday vibe. And to be perfectly honest with you, my only ski holiday vibe as winter sports are not exactly my favourite and it must be over 10 years since the last time I've been skiing.

Korvaläpät kaupunkityylissä
Rinteiden sijaan korvaläpät tuleekin olemaan kovassa käytössä kaupunkiympäristössä ja city lookeissa tänä lopputalvena ja alkukeväänä kun korville kaipaa vielä lämpöä ja suojaa tuulta vastaan. Pörröiset tekokarvaiset korvaläpät sopivat loistavasti myös esimerkiksi lentäjäntakin kanssa, neulemekkoon yhdistettynä ja farkkuasun viimeisteleväksi asusteeksi. Ja juuri edellämainituissa yhdistelmissä korvaläpät tuleekin varmasti käyttöön vielä moneen kertaan tänä talvena. Tai no, jos totta puhutaan niin korvaläpät tulee luultavasti painettua päähän joka kerta ovesta ulos lähtiessä aina siihen asti kun kevätaurinko paistaa ja lämpömittari näyttää lähemmäs 10 astetta. Eli aika pitkään vielä.
Earmuffs in urban style
Instead of the slopes I'll be wearing my earmuffs a lot in the more urban environment and as part of my city looks for the rest of the winter and early spring when you still need your ears covered and protected from the wind. Fluffy faux fur earmuffs work wonderfully when styled together with an aviator jacket, with a knitted dress and as the finishing touch to a denim outfit. And it's exactly the before mentioned looks that I'm going to be wearing earmuffs many a time this winter. Well, truth be told I'm probably going to put earmuffs on pretty much every single time I head out the door up until the spring sun is shining and the temperature is somewhere close to 10 degrees. So for quite a while still.
