1. Kesäkuun alussa vietettiin rentoa tyttöjen mökkiviikonloppua laiturilla makoillen ja auringosta nauttien.
2. Kesäkuussa tehtiin myös päiväreissu Porvooseen näiden kahden ihanan kanssa. Listailin muuten myös vähän Porvoo-vinkkejä tänne blogiinkin, ja jos postaus on mennyt sulta ohi niin pääset lukemaan sen täältä!

4. Siis voiko enää upeamman väristä vettä ollakaan?! Nizza kyllä ihastutti kauneudellaan, niin luonnossa kuin rakennuksissakin.

Nopea parin kokonaisen päivän pyrähdys Nizzaan oli pitkälti ympäriinsä kävelyä, kuvaamista, Aperolien siemailua, auringonpaistetta, ja ehdin mä tosiaan pyörähtämään myös Monte Carlossa Monacon puolella. Reissussa tuli kuvattua ja otettua videoita niin paljon, että reissupostauksiakin löytyy vaikka kuinka. Nizza-tunnelmia voikin fiilistellä täällä, täällä, täällä, täällä ja täällä.

The quick 2-day trip to Nice consisted mostly of walking around, shooting outfits, sipping on Aperols, sunshine and I managed to squeeze in an afternoon in Monte Carlo in Monaco too. I shot so many photos and videos during our trip that there are plenty of travel posts up for you to read. You'll find the posts here, here, here, here and here.
1. Perinteistä poiketen vietettiin juhannusta tällä kertaa kaupungissa maalaismaisemien sijaan.
2. Kerrankin oli myös juhannussää kohdallaan, ja mun juhannus-look koostuikin farkkushortseista ja bikinien yläosasta.
3. Uusi vegaanijätski testissä: Tötterön Mansikka-Raparperi saa kyllä mun suositukset!
4. Juhannuspäivänä käytiin haistelemassa meri-ilmaa Helsingin edustalla. Tänä kesänä oon muuten useasti miettinyt sitä, kuinka ainutlaatuinen kaupunki Helsinki on siinä suhteessa että kaupungin hälinästä pääsee luonnon lähelle ihan super helposti ja nopeasti.
1. Unlike usually, this year we spent Midsummer in the city instead of heading off to the countryside.
2. For once the Midsummer weather was actually amazing, and my Midsummer look consisted mostly of this denim short and bikini top combo.
3. Tried also a new vegan ice cream: the rhubarb-strawberry from Törrerö (= cone), gets a recommendation from me!
4. On Midsummer day we spent a short while by the seaside in Helsinki. This summer I've been often thinking about how unusual city Helsinki is in that sense that you can get from the hustle and bustle of the city centre close to nature and these views in a matter of minutes.
1. Pari viikkoa sitten maanataina lähdettiin Hennan, Inkan ja Mirellan kanssa Hankoon, ja ensin oli teitty käytävä täyttämässä nälkäiset mahat Skifferin terassilla.
2. Pizzojen jälkeen kuvattiin, kuvattiin ja kuvattiin vähän vielä lisää.
3. & 4. Oon kerran aikaisemminkin käynyt Hangossa mutta siitä on jo vuosia, enkä muistanutkaan kuinka ihana ja kaunis kesäkaupunki Hanko onkaan!

1. Tämä kuva on eräältä sunnuntaiaamulta kun ilman mitään erityisempää syytä heräsin jo viiden jälkeen aamulla, enkä enää saanut nukahdettua uudelleen. En yleensä tykkää jäädä sänkyyn makoilemaan heräämisen jälkeen, mutta tuona aamuna tuntui pitkästä aikaa kyllä hyvältä ihan vain loikoilla yli tunnin verran.
2. Hyvä ystäväni Anu jonka kanssa ollaan melkein naapureita Glasgow'ssa tuli viime viikolla Suomeen, ja kun kerrankin osuttiin täällä päässä samaan aikaan samaan kaupunkiin niin kyllähän meidän piti kahvitreffit järjestää.
3. Matcha lattea ja postausten kirjoittelua Oodin isojen ikkunoiden edessä.
4. Lähialuematkailua Hvitträskin kartanoon Kirkkonummelle. Ei muuten yhtään haittaisi tuollainen työhuone!
1. This photo is from one Sunday morning when I woke up after 5am without any particular reason and just couldn't fall back to sleep again. Usually I'm not a fan of laying in bed after waking up, but have to admit that on that morning it felt quite good to just lay there for an hour or so.
2. My good friend Anu who is also technically my neighbour in Glasgow came to Finland last week, and as for once we were at the same place at the same time on this end, of course we had to arrange a coffee and catch up date.
3. Matcha latte and blogpost writing in the Oodi Central Library.
4. There are so many places to explore here in the capital area, and last week we drove off to Kirkkonummi to visit the Hvitträsk mansion which is just approximately 20 minute drive away from the centre of Helsinki. That workspace is definitely something I'd like to have in my home too!
Viime perjantaina käännettiin auton nokka kohti lähellä Venäjän rajaa sijaitsevaa Zsar outlet-kylää. Liiketiloja oli vielä jonkun verran tyhjänä ja uusia brändejä näytti olevan tulossa vielä myöhemmin, mutta tällä hetkellä outlet-kylästä löytyy muun muassa Adidaksen, Kappan, Lumenen, Nordic Beauty Conceptin, Lindtin, Bossin, Ospreyn, Armanin, Reiman ja Le Creusetin liikkeet. Adidakselta tarttui mukaan uudet lenkkikengät hyvässä alessa korvaamaan mun jo monta vuotta vanhat Niken juoksukengät, jotka ei enää olleet kovin hyvät jalalle ja aikalailla hajoamispisteessä. Enpä muuten ollut koskaan aiemmin tajunnut että pääkaupunkiseudultakin ajaa Venäjän rajalle vain pari tuntia!
Last Friday we drove close to the Finnish-Russian border and the Zsar outlet village. The village still had quite a few empty retail spaces and there are many brands still coming in further down the line, but some of the brands you can already find in there are for example Adidas, Kappa, Lumene, Nordic Beauty Concept, Lindt, Boss, Osprey, Armani, Reima and Le Creuset. I got a new pair of Adidas shoes for running as they were hugely reduced, and I've been meaning to get new running shoes anyway to replace my old Nikes that have served me for four years now and are not exactly great for my feet anymore and technically falling apart anyway. And I never realised that the Russian border lies just a 2-hour drive away from the capital area!
